1. Japan
The land of the rising sun, as I was told, is mesmerizing in so many ways.
Its beauty has caught a lot of my friends off guard,
it made it difficult to leave the country.
Some couldn't let go, they decided to stay...for good.

I'm particularly excited to see the cherry blossoms, try their bullet trains,
visit and appreciate the beautiful architecture of their temples and shrines .

I was told that the best way to immerse myself in the Japanese culture
is to try as many Japanese food, and that I would definitely do!
Mr. B is especially excited to visit the district of Akihabara
famous for their electronics, anime and manga shopping.
I cannot wait to see Japan and experience their rich culture and meet their beautiful people.

2. New Zealand
The post card perfect country of New Zealand is the second in our list.
I always get a euphoric feeling when someone I know, shares their photos and stories of this majestic country. When I look at the photos, it's as if I am immediately transported there.
I swear, I could feel the wind in my skin while I pretend to be hiking or biking (even if I don't know how to ride the bike haha!), and can even smell the sweet scent of nature.
Oh! If only it wasn't just my imagination. Soon! Very soon!

3. Prague
This has been in my bucket list for a long time.
Now that I think about it, Prague has been in the list, when I had no list yet, just Prague.
I believed it started when it was featured in a travel show and I remember being engrossed by the rich Romanesque, Baroque and Gothic architecture they have featured.
I'm sure it would feel like travelling to a different period in history.
I don't think I'd live long enough to witness time travelling become a reality,
but travelling to places that has strongly preserved their historical architecture would definitely be an adventure of a lifetime for me.

4. Santorini, Greece
Santorini, is arguably Greece's most beautiful island.
Santorini has this distinct charm that has a lot of travellers captivated.
I have yet to set foot in this country, yet I find myself truly beguiled.
I wonder how elated of a feeling it would be to actually step foot in the island.
It would be wonderful to witness their famed sunsets, get to experience sleeping at the edge through one of the cliffside hotels and trying out Greek cuisine.

5. Belgium
Belgium's is another country that has me intriqued because of its fascinating architecture. There's no shortage of places of interest. From the charming quaint towns by the lake to the big cities, it has a lot to offer. Belgian chocolate, however, would be my main agenda. Where else would one find the best Belgian Chocolates but here. And oh! how about those Belgian waffles and frites (fries)? Mr. B may finally end his quest to find the best fries in the world.

6. Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia
Salar de Uyuni is an enchanting travel destination
that promises every traveller an orgasmic, jaw dropping photographic experience.
Playfully dubbed as one of the largest mirrors in the world,
this salt flat is said to be a photographers wonderland.
I would personally want to experience the night scene,
and capture millions of stars reflecting on the salt lake,
creating a breathtaking scene of the night sky.

7. Turkey
My interest in Turkey came from watching the movie Taken 2.
The movie showcased gorgeous views and architecture of the city.
The mineral-rich thermal waters flowing in what would seem like terraces in Pamukkale would be a sight to behold. But more than the famous sights, I dream of one day walking the local markets of Turkey and admiring the beautiful works of art they put in their ceramics.
I wonder if the black sea is as black as I imagine it would be.
Would we be able to eat all the different types of kebabs here?
Oh and the Baklava! They say it all starts and ends there.

8. Switzerland
Switzerland is another picturesque country.
I am especially interested to see the towns
that has buildings playfully painted in bursting colors.
They have plenty of dreamy lakeside castles and even hilltop castles!
Think Rapunzel!
How about swimming in their crystal clear lakes?
I cannot wait to see this dream-like paradise!

9. Paris
I was told by friends that, just like wine, Paris is an acquired taste.
The picture perfect postcards and wallpapers are not all perfect in real life.
But I still can't wait to experience Paris.
From its monuments , museums and castles, to its food and shopping,
I am certain I would love this City.
With Mr. B by my side, in what is dubbed as the most romantic city in the world,
how would I not love every moment of it?

10. Italy
Italy would be the perfect destination for this hopeless romantic.
What an experience it would be to ride the Venetian Gondolas
while being serenaded by Italian singers and musicians!
It would be an amazing adventure if we are able to visit all the legendary cities of
Rome, Venice, Milan and Florence.
Mr. B has been wanting to see Roman Ruins and the iconic Colosseum of Rome,
I'm sure the sheer size of the amphitheater would both be fascinating and overwhelming.
But that's what we're here for, to be fascinated!
